ADULT MINISTRIES

At Calvary we have many activities and growth opportunities designed especially for adults. 

Adult Sunday school is currently offering three electives...   

 PARABLES OF JESUS
Clarence Shoemaker will teach a series entitled "The Parables of Jesus," which will give insight into the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven. 

The BEST QUESTION EVER
The second option will be the Andy Stanley series "The Best Question Ever".  Andy Stanley is the author of the "Defining Moments" series, and in "The Best Question Ever" he will teach us how God's Word provides a filter to successfully evaluate every opportunity, friendship, and decision in our lives.

FOUNDATIONS
This class is being offered in response to the interest and encouragement to offer a class on basic biblical doctrines for those who are still investigating Christianity or who are young in their Christian faith.  You can sign up at the Information Center for this class that will be taught by Pastor Terry Port.

On Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m., we offer a Bible study which is led by our senior pastor.  This time includes a time of prayer for the specific concerns of those gathered, as well as church, community and world prayer needs.

Various Bible study groups for men, women and couples are also available both daytime and evenings during the week.  See Men's Ministries and Women's Ministries for details.

There is a wide variety of other ministry opportunities for adults as well.  We have worship teams, drama, community service projects, missions experiences, teaching, and more.  Calvary is a place to become all that God has designed you to be in an environment of love and acceptance.
